The 100-plus delegates who wrote a new "mock" state constitution unveiled their creation this morning at Alabama Constitution Village on Gates Avenue. Over the course of four days in February and June and numerous e-mails in between, the 14-article document was crafted with the backing of the Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform, which has worked for years to persuade the Legislature to compose a new governing document.
